15 May 2010 - Jessica Watson completed her solo journey around the world on her boat, Ella's Pink Lady. Merit Sailing hosted the 7 Network who were broadcasting live from the boat as well as special guest seven time World Champion Surfer Layne Beachley who was mentoring Jessica throughout her journey.

29 August 2010 - Through their alliance with the Layne Beachley Aim for the Stars Foundation, Merit Sailing hosted the 2010 Aim for the Stars foundation recipients and their families for a sail on Sydney Harbour. Click here for more information.

20 November 2010 - Following a conference for their senior executives, Samsung - Staron chartered Nikon Spirit of the Maid to take conference attendees out on Sydney Harbour for three hours to show them a unique experience to end off their busy week.

26 November 2010 - Merit Sailing hosted Nikon Australia, the major sponsor of Spirit of the Maid on a twilight charter. Nikon brought some of their major clients out to show them the boat that they sponsor and, as it was a Friday afternoon, also provided them with a perfect ending to the working week.

27 January 2011 - Merit Sailing hosted Stratco Racing for a sail on Sydney Harbour to launch the 2011 V8 Supercar campaign for the formidable Kelly Racing team on the Volvo 60 Merit. Click here for more information. Stratco was Merit's major sponsor for the 2010 Rolex Sydney - Hobart Yacht Race.

9 February 2011 - Merit Sailing hosted Sydney radio station 2UE for a three hour charter for their major advertising accounts. During the charter, the 2UE sales team were able to interact with their contacts at these companies in arelaxed environment. The sales team and their clients were able to build on their existing relationships as they all took their turn at the various activities on the boat.
