Merit Sailing's two boats are racing yachts, both being built for the Volvo Round the World Ocean Race which races every 3 years around the globe stopping at different ports on their journey.

As racing yachts, they are sailed competitively in various races and regattas on Sydney Harbour as well as up and down the Australian East Coast, culminating in the annual Rolex - Sydney Hobart Yacht Race which starts each year on Boxing Day.

As one of the leading Sydney yacht charter companies, Merit Sailing offers crewing positions in these races as part of a sponsorship program. This could be used as an incentive for staff performances or for you personally to get more experience racing on a Volvo 60 yacht.
